.. one of our fren has requested a special bday cake for his little boy.... he loves dinosaurs so much and we are more than happy to help make his dream come true!!!! a special dino cake for our dearest bday boy, NABIL.....
and all is worth it... he really love the cake... just look at the smile on his face.... what else can u ask for, right??!!

Babycakes
babycakes... its small, cute, bitesize.... very suitable for parties & makan-makan session... we have received some orders for bday celebration, gifts for frens, corporate events..... there are 3 type of toppings that u can choose from...
1) the itallian buttercream - this is totally for the butter lover coz our buttercream is really buttery, soft and fluffy... hahah... tak paham? hv to try it first... then u'll know what i'm talking about...
2) the yummy creamcheese topping - ahaaaa!!! for the cheeezzee lover and for those who wants sumthin diff... the eating experience with our creamcheese topping will definitely surprise you.... its very rich but yet the sourish taste will definitely makes u want more... and last but not least...
3) our sinful choc ganache - this is surely for the CHOC LOVER!!!!!!! ...nahh.... i don't hv to say more when it is choc ur talking abt...

Our 1st bday cake
receive a request from my good fren tini to do up a bday cake for the little muchkin... 1yr old imran faidz... she doesn't hv any particular request and just leave it to us to decide.... whats cute yaaa for a little boy... kena la macho sket kan.... and suitable for a baby... then we saw this really cute teddy pix...

Feb Special - LOVE theme
we are officially active in feb07... we started of with the feb special... as feb is a l.o.v.e month... the designs are angled towards T.L.C and romantic gesture.... what else if not roses and strawberries...

what do you think of this wedding cupcakes??? this is our first attempt doing a wedding cupcake... and my bro's wedding becomes our first trial base.... everybody thinks the rose buds are so cute sampai sayang nak makan... those are roses made out of fondant icing... its not only nice to look at but yummy as well....
the cupcakes are truely sumthin different than the normal wedding cake... so, do u want sumthin diff for your wedding day??? you know who to call now.... :)

During the trial period....
These are the first few cupcakes that we've made.... most of the time we'll bring to our fren's party for ppl to taste.... ni masa tgh promo session la....
.. and thats how it started....
first post for the blog.... how should we start, huh?? let me share with you how it all begins.. once a point of time... hahahhaha... kidding... :)
well, sheeda and me loves baking... and we have this dream of having our own "pusat lepak" aka cafe... this idea have been playing in our mind since loooooong time ago... esp when so stress at work... biasala berangan.... but dunno where to start and also no guts yet... imagine la opening a cafe is such a BIG thing... commitments plus the capital needed... bukan boleh main bukak jer... kena la ada concept, menu, strategic location... so many things to figure out... so, lama2 it remains there as a dream still la... not materialise...
ntah camner this topic on cakes and cupcakes arises... i guess its part of our discussion dalam skype la.... masa tu we all tekad la nak cuba buat cupcakes... at least on a part time basis la... masa tu raya... ingat lagi i brought over the first batch of the choc cupcakes for them to taste ... kat rumah sheeda masa tu... it was just a simple choc cupcakes with creamcheese topping... and they love it... bawak gi office, also get good comments.... tak tahu la if they say sedap coz its free masa tu kan... hehehe...
frankly, me & sheeda... we only know how to bake... but we are hopeless when it comes to promoting and marketing products.... that was one of the biggest challenge to both of us.... masa nak quote harga kat orang... takut termahal sangat ke... ok ke tak... mcm2 la... maklumla, selalunya buatkan for free jer.... so, that time elle & enze were basically guiding us on how to go forward.... and last2 elle join in as the 3rd partner... to cover on all this promo side... and hasilnya... www.havenlycakes.com were born.... our portal to promote to the world that we have really delicious cakes to serve your sweet tooth...
well, its not an easy road... there are stumbling blocks along the way... ngan recipe tak jadi la... tak cukup lembut ... toppings yg cair sangat... we have our ups and downs la when we first started... and as we are doing this part-time basis mmg sometimes tu no time for ourselves and for the family.... but, the support from all our friends and family hv keep us going... and InsyaAllah one day our dream will materialise.... one step at a time...
